Charles Howell III Wins PGA Tour Championship & $4 Million, overcoming a four-shot deficit from Peter Uihlein and Talor Gooch.
Charles Howell III earned 4 million dollars in the first of LIV Golf‘s 14-event season on Sunday, which he won at El Camaleon Golf Course in Mayakoba, Mexico after completing a flawless final round.

“It’s big we got the team win,” Howell said. “I played here many times before and had an idea of what to expect coming in. But around this place, man, there’s double bogeys everywhere, so you never know.”

Power Rankings: Arnold Palmer Invitational presented by Mastercard

This is the fourth event of the season. Of the 23 Player Impact Program winners, all have committed except for Tiger Woods who remains uncertain due to his extended recovery. Given his track record at Bay Hill and recent form at Riviera, it can be assumed all competitors won’t miss him on the leaderboard this week. This implies someone other than him will receive the trophy.
