Cameron Young’s appreciation for Arnold Palmer has come full-cycle since he was a boy.

Cameron Young now has an award to show off as a reward for his successful rookie season on the PGA Tour. Young, named the 2022 PGA TOUR rookie of the year, won the Arnold Palmer Award on Wednes­day.

The 22-year-old had a breakout performance at the BMW Championship. He fired rounds of 69-67-66-68 to finish third at Conway Farms. His final round score matched his career best and put him into contention for a spot in the FedEx Cup playoffs.

Scotty Cameron has designed Scottie Scheffler a new version of the Phantom X T-5.5 putter, with a single black stripe on the top-line and two white stripes on the back flange. Scottie Schefflers’ last putter switch worked out well for him. He won in his first start with another new Scotty Cameron Special Select Timeless Tourtype GSS prototype, then went on to win three more tournaments out of his next five starts, including the Masters, to reach world number one.
