Today in Golf – LIV Golf Revenue Woes, New PXG Golf Ball Review and more
A recent court filing revealed that LIV Golf lawyers reported ‘virtually zero’ revenue for the year 2022
It’s unsurprising that the LIV Golf tour failed to turn a profit after investing $700 million in talent and product development for its 2022 launch.
Last month, LIV announced a revenue-share agreement with the CW network, in which they will not receive any rights fees, but continue to bear production costs.
On February 24-26, LIV returns to the scene with the launch of its 14-event league at Mayakoba’s El Camaleón Golf Course on the Riviera Maya.
‘Hype AF’: Latest Hype Video of LIV Golf Captains Draws Immense Stir From Golf World
Following the successful launch of LIV Golf, they are now just weeks away from starting their second season. The Tour is aiming to become the new home of golf, hence preparations for the upcoming season have already begun. To amplify viewership, a promotional video featuring all 12 team captains was released on Twitter to stir up enthusiasm among golf enthusiasts.
In the 43-second video, Dustin Johnson (defending LIV Golf winner representing Aces 04) starts it off, followed by two-time Major champion Martin Kaymer (Gleeks GC captain) and the rest of the 12 team captains proudly wearing their team merchandise.

Pros: Andy Roberts points to an Impressive all-round performance, “it holds up very well to faster swing speeds; pleasing spin rates off the tee; lots of good height with the scoring clubs; side stamp line aids terrific alignment on the greens”
